Interviews
Every year, more and more students are unable to visit Union's campus for a personal interview. Thus, the number of students requesting off-campus alumni interviews is growing. In order to accommodate these requests, we need your help! If you are interested in connecting with prospective students in your hometown and learning about their goals and accomplishments, we invite you to join our Alumni Admissions team as an Alumni Interviewer. What is involved with alumni interviews?
Typical alumni interviews:
- Last approximately one hour
- Occur at your choice of venue: your home, their home, your office, a neighborhood coffee shop, etc.
- he number of interviews you are asked to conduct truly depends on the requests coming from your geographic region.
Our philosophy on interviewing is to provide a comfortable environment for the student, making it more conducive for getting to know his/her interests, accomplishments, and goals. We would like our alumni interviewers to also provide this type of environment to students. Interviewing is a fantastic opportunity to learn about a prospective member of the College as well as a chance to educate students about life at Union.
