Receptions
Every year, the Admissions Office hosts receptions in various parts of the country. In the past, many alumni volunteers have opened their homes to prospective students and their families. Receptions often occur during Union breaks so we are able to invite current students as well as alumni to connect with prospective students, parents, and admissions staff members. Bringing all of these groups together for one night truly proves to be a wonderful experience for all.
What does hosting a reception involve?
Because our hosts are gracious enough to welcome Union into their homes, the Admissions Office is very flexible and works individually with families. Below are some of the typical characteristics of a reception.
- The average reception lasts approximately 2-3 hours.
- The Admissions Office will be in communication with you throughout the process to discuss and coordinate attendance and catering.
- The Admissions Office will organize the programming for the event and invite all participants.

We thank you in advance for your support and look forward to possibly working with you!
