The Garnet Guard
The Garnet Guard, founded in 1988, is made up of all alumni/ae who have celebrated their 50th ReUnion. Members of the 50th ReUnion class are welcomed into the Garnet Guard at their 50th ReUnion during the Medallion Ceremony. Currently there are two annual luncheons held on campus for the Garnet Guard: one during Homecoming and Family Weekend, the second during ReUnion Weekend.

Garnet Guard Lifetime Pass
All Members of the Garnet Guard are issued a Garnet Guard Lifetime Pass. This pass entitles members to:
- Use of the Alumni Gym
- Use of the Schaffer Library
- Free admission to Union home athletic contests (excludes hockey and post-season tournaments).
- A 15% discount at the College Bookstore on any item on the purchase of any item which carries the name or emblem of UNION COLLEGE (excludes class rings)
