Union celebrates Homecoming & Family Weekend

Alumni, family and friends came to campus and enjoyed a number of fascinating talks and gatherings, some exciting wins in football, volleyball and women's soccer and the lovely fall weather.


Terrace Council members are thanked at the Ritz-Carlton in New York City
The Thank You Reception, hosted by President and Mrs. Stephen Ainlay, was attended by over 115 Terrace Council members ranging from the class of '36 to '07.

Maya Angelou, the award-winning poet, civil rights activist and playwright, captivated an overflow crowd on Monday, Oct. 22.


"Union Notables" on display in Schaffer Library
A writer, a physician and a politician are the first to be featured in "Union Notables," a new exhibit which recently opened in the atrium of Schaffer Library.

Union signs climate pledge
President Stephen C. Ainlay recently signed the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment (ACUPCC), which formally commits the College to reducing and eventually eliminating its global warming emissions.

K. Wayne McDougall '86 named to AngioDynamics post

Jack Etkin '68 had a beat on the World Series
Etkin covers the Colorado Rockies for the Rocky Mountain News and reported on the team's first-ever World Series appearance.
