Converging Technologies at Union focuses creative thought from engineering and the liberal arts on new ideas that are changing the landscape of global society. We believe that these ideas, which spill across disciplinary boundaries, will define innovation in the 21st century. For example, students will find courses, programs and research opportunities in a growing list of intersectional fields as bioengineering, digital art, entrepreneurship, environmental science, nanotechnology, neuroscience, pervasive computing, and science and technology policy.
Reflecting our commitment to make CT accessible to all students, we offer both technical and non-technical courses in small classes and laboratories where faculty and students interact closely. We also support the development of interdisciplinary undergraduate research teams.
