Union Mini Term Abroad In The Louvre, Paris - Winter Break
During this Mini-Term, we will spend three weeks in the Louvre Museum in Paris. We will study its vast and encyclopedic collection of artworks from the ancient world to the end of the 19th Century, as well as the history and architecture of the building itself. With this museum as our classroom, our academic work will use journal writing and drawing to explore issues of architectural history, connoisseurship, visual analysis, and aesthetic response. There will be some group lectures, daily writing assignments, and individual projects undertaken in the museum.
