Prof. Toher publishes in Classical Quarterly
Mark Toher, professor of classics, published the article "Octavian's Arrival in Rome, 44 BC," in Classical Quarterly 54 (2004): 174-184. The article explores how long it took Caesar's adopted son to arrive in Rome after the assassination. Toher's work establishes a definitive chronology, thus contributing substantially to our knowledge of how accomplished a politician Caesar's heir may (or may not) have been at the very beginning of his career.
