Psychology professor takes post as legislative advocate
Rudy Nydegger, professor of psychology, has been appointed State Legislative Advocacy Coordinator for the New York State Psychological Association. The post involves tracking and initiating state legislative agenda that are of interest to psychology and to the consumers of mental health services. He will work with the legislature, lobbyists, professional groups, and consumer groups to support and encourage better legislative support for mental health services and for patients and clients.
