Economist to speak Monday

Jeremy Peat, recently retired chief economist of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), will discuss the world economy on Monday, Sept. 12, at 3:30 p.m. in Social Sciences 103. The talk is sponsored by the Economics Club. Peat was group chief economist at RBS, the world's fifth largest bank, from 1993 until his retirement last year. He now serves the bank on a consulting basis.
