Tann work to premiere in Albany

A new work by Hilary Tann will be premiered on Saturday, May 6 at 8 p.m. at The Egg in Albany by the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company at its 15th season celebration.
The 12-minute piece for solo bassoon, "Kilvert's Hills," is supported by a New York State Council on the Arts Commission. Bassoonist Krassimir Ivanov will perform on stage with a solo dancer and moving sculpture.
In addition, Tann and Ivanov will record "Kilvert's Hills" in New York City on April 10 for release on a future "Solos and Duos" CD.
