The write tutoring stuff

Know a student with top-notch writing skills who can help others improve their skills? The Writing Center is seeking to fill positions for tutors in the coming academic year.

"I'm looking for people who care about writing and have the interpersonal skills to work with their peers to improve the effectiveness of a piece of writing," said Mary Mar, Writing Center director. "This is a challenging job but a very rewarding and important one."

Mar needs juniors and seniors from all departments who are experienced at writing varied college-level papers. The jobs are hourly, paid, non-work study positions. To nominate a student tutor, email Mar at: marm@union.edu.
