All that jazz: Lunchtime series slated
Treat yourself to a cool lunchtime this spring, courtesy of the Department of Music, which is presenting a free lunchtime jazz series in conjunction with AMU 132, "The History of Jazz," and IEF.
There will be four Friday concerts, which will trace the history of this American musical style. The first one, scheduled for April 7, features early jazz. The others are: April 21, swing; May 12, bebop; and May 26, modern jazz.
All concerts begin at 12:05 p.m. and are held in Arts 215.
