Morris receives Hawley Prize for best essay

Andrew Morris, assistant professor of history, has been named the recipient of the Ellis Hawley Prize from the Journal of Policy History for the best essay published in the JPH by a junior scholar in the last two years. His essay, "The Voluntary Sector's War on Poverty," appeared in the journal's fall 2004 issue. Morris will receive his prize on June 3 at the Policy History Conference in Charlottesville, Va.
