Klein presents at symposium
J. Douglass Klein, professor of Economics and director of the Center for Converging Technologies, recently participated in "Connectivity: The Tenth Biennial Symposium on Arts and Technology," sponsored by the Ammerman Center for Arts & Technology at Connecticut College. With Adrienne Klein, he presented a lecture-demonstration entitled, "Flush with Excitement: An Innovative Use of Art and Technology for Education." The work is documented at http://www.adrienneklein.net/work/flush.htm. Klein also participated in the 2nd Annual Tech Valley Engineering Symposium, with a presentation on "Attracting and Retaining the Creative Class in Tech Valley." It was based, in part, on a larger research project led by Prof. Hal Fried on "Benchmarking Tech Valley," funded by the Center for Economic Growth.
