Smith publishes poetry book

Jordan Smith, professor of English, has published a new book of poetry, The Names of Things Are Leaving (University of Tampa Press). Smith moves easily between subjects as diverse as bluegrass and opera. He also examines the historic landscape of various locales in a warm, personal, and imaginative narrative voice, bringing to life things long forgotten.
