Therese McCarty will continue in her role as interim vice president for Academic Affairs and dean of the faculty through the 2007-08 academic year, President Stephen C. Ainlay announced. "Dean McCarty has been extraordinarily helpful to me during my transition to Union," Ainlay said. "In addition to her excellent leadership in Academic Affairs, she has taken a lead role in the strategic planning process. Through all of this, her integrity and understanding of Union and its distinctive mission have served all of us very well."
