Invitational Guest Artist Exhibit

"Stephen Pentak: Recent Paintings"

Seven large oil paintings on panel and six oils on paper, completed over the last year by Pentak, Union Class of 1973 and co-author of Design Basics, the text being used in Union's Design Fundamentals course. Pentak will speak with students during his visit and also give a gallery talk Thursday, Oct. 19, 3:30 p.m., with a reception Oct. 20, 5-7 p.m.

Time Capsule: 2006

Features selections from 60 students who took Visual Arts Professor Fernando Orellana's Intro to Digital Art class last year. When the exhibit ends, all of the work will be locked inside a time capsule and buried. Orellana hopes that the capsule will be opened and revisited in a second exhibit in 2066.
