Jonathan Marr, visiting associate professor of Physics, and Nathaniel Hawes '08 (first author), presented a poster "LogN-LogF Curve for Gamma Ray Bursts from Exploding Primordial Black Holes," at the 17th Annual October Astrophysics Conference in Maryland: "Radiation Backgrounds from the First Stars, Galaxies and Black Holes." It was held at the University of Maryland. Hawes also gave an oral presentation of the same title recently at the fall meeting of the Astronomical Society of New York.
