Raymond Martin, the Dwane W. Crichton Professor of Philosophy and chair of the Department of Philosophy, recently co-authored, with John Barresi, a psychologist at Dalhousie University, "The Rise and Fall of Soul and Self: An Intellectual History of Personal Identity." The book was published by Columbia University Press.
