Prof. Baker writes chapter in ethics book
"A History of Codes of Ethics for Bioethicists" by Robert Baker, the William D. Williams Professor of Philosophy and chair of the Rapaport Ethics Across the Curriculum, will appear in The Ethics of Bioethics: Mapping the Moral Landscape, to be released in March. The publication, edited by Lisa Eckenweiler and Felicia Cohen, is published by Johns Hopkins University Press. Baker has served on the four-member Advisory Committee on Ethics Standards (ACES) of the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities, which, at its national meeting in October in Denver, unanimously recommended that the society draft a code of ethics for bioethicists.
