True crime writer Kerrie Ticknor Droban ’87 will join students, alumni and friends in two events at ReUnion Weekend.

She will read from her new book, Running with the Devil: The True Story of the ATF's Infiltration of the Arizona Hell's Angels, on Friday, June 1, 7:30 p.m. in the Taylor Music Center’s Fred L. Emerson Foundation Auditorium.

On Saturday, June 2, at 1:30 p.m., she will lead an informal discussion about her work in Wold House.

Droban’s collection of poems, The Language of Butchers, has received numerous awards, including the Academy of American Poets Award. Her suspense novels have earned the Daphne Du Maurier and Clara awards for excellence in mystery writing.

Droban, an attorney, also heads her own criminal defense firm in Phoenix. Her visit marks the final event of the year for the Alumni Writers Series.
