Works by Hilary Tann to be performed

The Empire State Youth Orchestra, which premiered Prof. Hilary Tann's "From the Feather to the Mountain" in March, will give an encore performance on Saturday night at Albany's Palace Theater during a program by the Albany Symphony Orchestra.

On Thursday, May 26, at 8 p.m. in Memorial Chapel, the Meininger Trio of Germany will perform a concert in the Union College chamber series featuring Tann's "The Gardens of Anna Maria Louisa de Medici" for flute, cello and piano. The concert will mark the release of the trio's new CD featuring four Tann works.
