A step ahead: Members of Union College Hillel, AEPi and Sigma Delta Tau raised $5,744 on Sunday, Oct. 18, for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. They were the 6th highest fundraiser from among 100 Capital Region teams. In all, 12,000 people gathered for the event in Albany’s Washington Park, raising more than $1 million for the cause. Union College sponsored three teams and brought in more than $7,000. Among the 212 participating companies, the College was cited as the 8th highest fundraiser.
