SCENE ON CAMPUS

Professor of English Judith Lewin and Aaron Feingold '72 admire an original copy of "Der Judenstat" by Theodore Herzl, considered to be the “father of Israel,” and a letter from his colleague, Max Nordau, both on loan from Feingold. The temporary exhibit was in honor of the 150th birthday of Herzl. Stephen Berk, the Henry and Sally Schaffer Professor of Holocaust and Jewish Studies, gave a lecture to commemorate the occasion, followed by a dinner sponsored by Feingold.
