200 attend anti-hate rally
Nearly two dozen members of the Union community spoke on Wednesday at a "Stop the Hate Rally" in Reamer Campus Center.
The rally, organized in response to several reported incidents of homophobia, anti-Semitism and racism, drew about 200.
"This is a time for everyone on campus to step up," said Fred Alford, dean of students. "It's an opportunity to raise our community to a higher plane and to develop our community through a stronger set of bonds."
