Orchestra performs Nov. 17
Rob Taylor '82 will be the featured artist in a concert by the Union College and Community Orchestra, conducted by Victor Klimash, on Sunday, Nov. 17, at 3 p.m. in Memorial Chapel.
The concert is free and open to the public.
Taylor will play the solo violin part in Chausson's Poeme pour Violon et Orchestre and also Dvorak's Romance. The program also includes the Overture to The Secret Marriage by Cimarosa, and the Romeo and Juliet Fantasie Overture by Tchaikovsky. Taylor joins the Orchestra taking a leave from his position as concertmaster of the world tour of Disney's The Lion King.
