46 Present Research at NCUR

Union had one of the largest contingents – with 46 students – at the eleventh National Conference on Undergraduate Research April 24 through 26 at the University of Texas at Austin.

Thomas Werner, the Florence B. Sherwood Professor of Physical Sciences, was re-elected chair of the Board of Governors of NCUR. As Chair, Werner - who is in his third three-year term on the 24-member board - will lead planning for next year's conference at Salisbury (Md.) State University.

Attending were four faculty: Werner, James Adrian, Barbara Danowski and Ashraf Ghaly.
