Tree Planted in Memory of Marian Jean Overocker
Campus operations staff on April 26 planted a red maple tree behind Fero House in memory of Marian Jean Overocker, a long-time friend of the College who passed away in late March. Marian Jean was the wife of Harrison Overocker '72, a warehouseman at the College and a 42-year employee. At the tree-planting ceremony, Harry expressed sincere gratitude for the gift of the tree, which was funded by a collection taken up by the campus operations staff.
