Soph Rush Slated for Discussion

The campus community is holding meetings to discuss a committee recommendation to establish sophomore-year rush.

Meetings are Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 4:30 p.m., and Monday, Sept. 21, at 12:15 p.m., in Reamer Campus Center Auditorium.

A committee of students, alumni, faculty and staff has recommended that, beginning with the Class of 2004, first-year students should not participate in rush or pledging. It also suggested establishing a committee to implement the change, and a review after five years.
