College Mourns Terpening

The College mourns the loss of Laudlin L. Terpening of Altamont, who served as communications systems operator in Campus Safety.

He died May 25 at the age of 51.

Before joining the College, he worked 30 years as a Schenectady County probation officer.

A lifelong area resident, he was a member of the Esperance Band, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Schenectady, and several youth organizations.

Survivors include his wife, Debera Swick Terpening, three sons and two daughers.

Contributions may be made to the Esperance Band. Arrangements were with White-Van Buren Funeral Home, Delanson.
