On the Ball
Missy Matusewicz '01, who holds Union's scoring records for goals and points in a season and in a career, dribbles the ball in a recent game. Matusewicz tallied 69 goals and 23 assists over 72 games in her Union career. Women's soccer lost 1-0 Wednesday to Western Connecticut State University in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament at Garis Field. WCSU converted their only shot on goal at 9:48 of the third overtime. Union finishes the season at 15-2-2/6-1 in the UCAA and an automatic NCAA berth. The season record was the second best in Union's 21-year history.
