Students in China as Close as Web
Wondering how Union's students on term abroad in China are doing?
Check and see at www1.union.edu/~ferrym/China2000/NanjingIndex.html.
Prof. Megan Ferry is accompanying the Union contingent at Nanjing Normal University, and she has posted photos and text at the site.
"By now students are getting into the swing of things and have figured out a way to parcel their study time with leisure," Ferry writes. "Many like to visit a nearby teahouse where they can sit for hours on end with one pot of tea and endless refills."
Besides taking lots of tours, students are studying traditional Chinese medicine, Mao Zedong thought, martial arts, and traditional Chinese brush painting.
