Bill Schwarz headed for Houston

Colleagues will hold a farewell reception for Bill Schwarz, director of corporate and government relations, on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Abbe Hall.

Schwarz, who joined the College's Office of Communications in 1998, has accepted a new position as manager of global communications for GE's Power Systems Division in Houston with responsibility for a new company acquisition in Austria. At GE, Schwarz will manage the division's communications, public affairs and media relations efforts.
