Homecoming, Family Weekend
features pep rally, games, dinners

With more than 1,400 signed up at mid-week, attendance at Homecoming and Family Weekend could approach 2,000 for events scheduled for Friday through Sunday.

"We have a variety of cultural, social, athletic and academic events," said Nick Famulare '92, director of alumni relations. "As one parent wrote, "it looks like Union has planned a wonderful weekend for everyone."

New this year is a pep rally on Friday at 9 p.m. at Reamer Campus Center.

The popular pre-game tailgate party starts Saturday, at 11:30 a.m. on Alexander Field.

A family carnival will be Saturday from 11:30 to 5 p.m. on Alexander Field.

Campus athletic offerings include football vs. College of New Jersey at 1 p.m. on Frank Bailey Field; men's soccer vs. Geneso at 1 p.m. on Garis Field; and field hockey vs. RPI at 5:30 on Frank Bailey Field.

A Harvest Reception and Dinner for alumni, parents and guests will be Saturday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Upperclass Dining. (Reservations suggested.)
