Robert Hislope presents a paper in San Francisco
Robert Hislope, assistant professor of political science, presented a paper, "The Calm Before the Storm? The Influence of Cross-Border Networks, Corruption, and Contraband on Macedonian Stability and Regional Security," at the recent American Political Science Association meeting in San Francisco. He also contributed a chapter, "From Ontology to Analogy: Evolutionary Theories and the Explanation of Ethnic Politics," in Evolutionary Theory and Ethnic Conflict, Patrick James and David Goetze, eds. (Praeger, 2001). He wrote a book review of Radha Kumar's "Divide and Fall: Bosnia in the Annals of Partition" (1997), published in Canadian-American Slavic Studies (v. 35, no. 4, Winter 2001).
