Project manager named

William Shafer has been named capital projects and construction manager at the College. He is a graduate of Stanford University and holds a master of architecture degree from Harvard University. He is a licensed architect in Maryland and California. His primary responsibility during the next two years will be to oversee the planning, design and renovation and expansion of Schaffer Library.

Loren Rucinski, coordinator of campus planning, has been named assistant director of Campus Operations. He will continue to coordinate campus planning activities while assuming his new responsibilities.

The College has secured architect and planner Arthur J. Lidsky as a planning consultant. He is a senior consultant in the Belmont, Mass., firm of Dober, Lidsky, Craig and Associates, a campus and facility planning consultant firm which has served over 350 colleges and universities worldwide.
