Homecoming Family Weekend: a celebration of anniversaries

Homecoming and Family Weekend is a commemoration of several anniversaries: the 100th of the Union-RPI football rivalry, the 125th of Concordiensis, and the 80th of Homecoming itself.

Some of the highlights include:

Friday, 9 p.m., ReamerCampusCenter Patio -- 80th Homecoming Anniversary Celebration with music by "DazY HeaD MazY."

Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Alexander Field – Pre-game tailgate picnic.

Saturday, 1 p.m., Frank Bailey Field – Union football vs. RPI.

Saturday, 4 p.m., BeckerCareerCenterPanel discussion on "Careers in Writing and Journalism." A tribute to the 125th anniversary of the Concordiensis, the staff of the Stanley Becker Career Development Center has put together an alumni panel of writers and journalists for a discussion on the history of their careers from Union to the present.

Saturday, 5:30 to 8 p.m., Upperclass Dining, Reamer Campus Center --
Harvest Reception and Dinner for Alumni, Parents and Guests

Saturday, 6 p.m., Alumni Gymnasium -- Inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony. Inductees are Robin Romer Chudy '92, Richard Romer '88, Jim Tedisco '72, Ken Whalen '49 and Sig Makofski '26.
