Rachel Seligman works at Albany Center Galleries
Rachel Seligman, director of Mandeville Gallery, was one of eight artists who exhibited works at a recent exhibit titled "Silver: A 25th Anniversary Exhibit" at the Albany Center Galleries. Seligman used the lost wax casting technique to produce pieces that take the form of traditional jewelry, though some pieces are not wearable. "Regardless of its wearability, I am interested in the relationship of each piece to the human body," she wrote in the exhibit catalog.
