Will Geffe is named interim SID

Will Geffe has been named interim sports information director at Union College, serving in the role until the return of longtime sports information director George Cuttita, who has been on leave since October 16.

Geffe will remain on staff at Union upon Cuttita's return, serving as the interim assistant sports information director until the end of March, when he will serve as the primary contact for men's and women's hockey for the remainder of the 2003-2004 season.

Geffe has been serving as the color commentator for Union's men's hockey broadcasts on WTMM, ESPN 1300 AM this season. He has also served as a PA announcer for the college, handling football and selected other sporting events.

Before joining Union in the broadcast booth this fall, Geffe provided play-by-play, color, and PA services for Concord (NH) High School and MCTV 22 in Manchester, N.H., for local college and high school sports.

Geffe has also worked as a freelance "voiceover" artist in New Hampshire and the Capital Region.
