Presidential search continues at Union
By Online Edition - The Business Review
The committee searching for the next president for Union College in Schenectady will make a presentation to the college's board of trustees at its meeting this weekend during homecoming.
Frank Messa, a 1973 Union graduate and chairman of the presidential search committee, said the committee has settled on three finalists. He did not identify them. He said the remaining candidates and their spouses have visited Union over the past two weeks to meet with faculty, administrators and others.
Members of the search committee this week are doing last-minute background checks on the candidates prior to the board of trustees meeting.
The college is seeking to replace former president Roger Hull, who retired in June after 15 years heading the college.
