This term abroad includes students from Union College and Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Upstate New York. The academic focus is on the biological communities and geological evolution of eastern Australia and New Zealand, and well as the cultural heritage of those two countries. The term starts in late August in Brisbane, Queensland, in Australia and concludes in early December in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The Australia portion of the program is based at the University of Queensland (UQ), St. Lucia Campus, in Brisbane, Australia and is run by the Center for Marine Studies at UQ.
