Advantage Travel Proposal: This expands on the earlier material that was provided in printed form at the orientation meetings. This is a pdf version of the group travel proposal, with additional information on pricing for flights to Los Angeles, and the form that must be filled out and sent to Advantage to arrange for travel. Note that the deadline for for arrangments (with final payment) is June 12.

ETA (Electronic Travel Authority): As you are arranging flights keep in mind that to visit Australia requires a "visa" - the Australians refer to it as an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority). If you are working with a travel agent to arrange air travel, remind the agent to arrange for the ETA, which using a travel agent is done for free.

If you are arranging for your own travel then you need to go online (http://www.eta.immi.gov.au/) and arrange for the ETA. The cost is AU$20 and you need a credit card and your passport number. If you hold a US passport, you are eligible for the ETA. The ETA allows you to visit Australia for up to three months - keep this in mind if you are planning to get to Australia before the program begins.
