*Expectations: In many of these labs, I am asking you to learn both technical skills for manipulating the program and interpretive skills that will help you determine important spatial information about the earths surface. Labs are not merely handouts on which you must provide explicit answers to questions (there will be some of that, too). Rather, they require initiative from you to learn the capabilities of the program, applications of the techniques, and interpret geological information from a remote sensing perspective. I will give guidelines to help you deal with these issues. I am sure you will learn much from the experience and I look forward to working with you!
