The faculty and librarians of Union College encourage you to read a selection of books during the summer prior to your first year at the College, to give you a head start on your studies and to help you earn better grades in your general education courses. Accordingly, we offer here brief reading lists and some Internet resources in each of several areas in which you will be taking classes at Union in your first (and second) year. Enjoy!
