| ReUnion's of the Past
ReUnion was originally known as Alumni Day and a yearly occurrence by the early 1860’s. The normally smaller numbers of alumni were easily accommodated, but soon the college encouraged only those classes celebrating their graduation in multiples of five years to come out.
The first Alumni Parade was held in 1911. The Minerva Footrace was originally created as a symbolic gesture for Annul Fund participation, but become a true, 5 kilometer race through campus in later years.
