Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection: Russia and the Former Soviet Republics Maps -
The Perry-Castaneda Library Map Collection at the University of Texas at Austin includes Maps of the Commonwealth of Independent States (former Soviet Republics) in gif format produced from CIA maps. The maps are of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Caucasus and Central Asia, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Nagorno-Karabakh, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Russia, and now include specialized maps on major defense industries. The European map collection has maps of Former Yugoslavia, Bosnia, Albania, Macedonia, Ethnic Groups of Eastern Europe, Serbia, Poland, Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, the Baltic Sea area, and Romania.
