As promised, here are a few images of the Nanjing itself and a peek at student rooms. Many of the spots students are frequenting are of the city center, Xuanwu Lake, the old city wall, and the Wutaishan Sports Stadium. If they're lucky, students might get to watch the Nanjing soccer team play a match or two. Outside the main gate of campus there are countless small restaurants for students to try foods from different regions in China. The university campuses themselves are beautiful. They are full of trees and flowers, and winding passageways up and down hills. One even boasts Qing Dynasty (1644-1911 A.D.) architecture!
Students are housed in local hotels. Some hotels come with their own entertainment rooms, inlcuding Karaoke rooms, Internet Cafes, and convenience stores. One even has a fitness room. University track and basketball courts are available to students. There are approximately 300 foreign students studying Chinese and living in their hotels. Students share rooms equipped with air conditioning, a bathroom and shower, two beds, desk and chair, and a television
