Language House A
Language House A provides a great place for students in French and Spanish
to live, to speak the language they're studying, and to participate in
programs, events, and parties based around French and Spanish culture.
Some of the past programs include Mardi Gras, Cinco de Mayo, El Dia
de Los Muertos, and French and Spanish musicians and performers. We've
also had some great film nights and crêpe parties.
There are a total of eight members living in Language House A, and six
of them are students who have developed language skills in French and
Spanish. These students have the opporunity to share this living and study
space with the French and Spanish Language Assistants from France and
Chile.
On this page you can see pictures of the House's lively Mardi Gras celebration
and the fascinating storytelling event with Senegalese raconteur
Raouf Mama.
