Converging Technologies Scholars
The Union College Converging Technologies (CT) Scholars Program is an academic scholarship program for students with a broad range of interests who are planning to study in one of the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) fields. The scholarship is funded by the National Science Foundation and provides selected students with additional financial aid. CT Scholars are also expected to participate in one or more of Union's CT initiatives to enhance their educational experience at Union. The objective of the program is to attract and retain talented students, especially from groups traditionally under-represented in STEM fields, who can become innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders.
CT Scholars from the classes of 2011 and 2012 have already been chosen. Union has applied to the National Science Foundation to continue funding for classes of 2013 and beyond.
The Union College CT-Scholars program is supported by
a grant from the National Science Foundation.
