Project Description:
I worked researching and creating a book in collaboration with photographer Martin Benjamin. I scanned photographs, retouched photographs, and helped sequence the pictures in a storyboard in preparation for designing all graphic elements of the book including font use, text layout design, and graphic design layout of the pages of the book. We met with authorities on printing, paper, binding, book making. Also two other book projects are sequenced and concepts for their graphic design have been researched. A fourth book project is in the beginning stages. I developed a design package concept for all four books that makes them a single brand and connected in relation to each other as a 'series.'
